The liquid lipstick I ordered was the Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Milan. I'm having a real obsession with matte lipsticks at the mo, so this appealed, as I thought the colour description sounded like a liquid lipstick version of MAC Brave. I was wrong, this is a much more vibrant pink than MAC Brave, it's definitely not a 'my lips but better' type shade...
I do love the consistency though and this stuff will last on the lips until you eat and drink and the best bit, they're non drying! Yay! I really suffer with dry lips when using matte formulas, but this hasn't dried my lips at all.
For the money this is an amazing liquid lipstick, and I will probably wear it, it just isn't my favourite kind of lip colour...
As for the blusher, I went for the Baked Blush in Foreplay. For £6.50, I shouldn't have expected much and this really isn't anything to write home about. It's ok, but nothing special. I thought it might be a dupe for MAC Peachykeen, but this isn't as pink or as pigmented. It's also much more shimmery than I expected, no highlighter is required when wearing this!
It's not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I'll definitely be purchasing more NYX liquid lipsticks (Istanbul, Ibiza and Amsterdam, I'm looking at you!) I'll be passing on anymore of the blushes though :-)
